Luca del Monte is a senior executive at the European Space Agency (ESA) with expertise in industrial policy, strategy development, and deep tech. He currently leads ESA's Commercialisation Department, supporting European space entrepreneurs through business incubation, technology transfer, and investor connections. With a background in aerospace engineering, he holds a master's degree from the University of Rome, La Sapienza, and graduated from the French Armaments Procurement Institute. Luca also lectures on space commercialization and entrepreneurship at the Doctoral School of Bari Polytechnic and LUISS Business School. Additionally, he co-founded ECSECO, the European Centre for Space Economy and Commerce.
