Virginie is the president of ISACA France, the first woman to hold this position since the association’s founding in 1982. ISACA France is the leading association for digital trust, particularly in the area of AI auditing, offering the Digital Auditor certification (AAIA: Advanced AI Auditor). Virginie is also a partner in the Audit Tech Innovation Services (ATIS) practice at RSM France. As a specialist in IT audit, cybersecurity, and IT compliance, she leads and coordinates digital transformation projects involving blockchain technology and IT forensic audits. She also possesses deep expertise in the security and auditing of algorithms (smart contracts). With over 24 years of experience in auditing and consulting—including roles at an IT services firm and a Big Four audit and consulting firm as an ERP project manager and then as a senior IT manager— Virginie also spent four years at the Haute Autorité de l’Audit (H2A—formerly H3C) as an IT specialist dedicated to the “Big Four,” notably working on CAC40 and SOX engagements in joint inspections with the PCAOB. ​ Virginie Cuvilliez is certified in COBIT5 (IT governance), CISA (IT audit), CRISC (IT risks), and CDPSE (data privacy). She also teaches the IS governance module in the specialized master’s program in audit, management control, and information systems at SKEMA.
