Sylvain Bonnet-Passemar is Deputy Central Coordinator for Cybersecurity at the Ministry of the Armed Forces / DRH MD. Formerly head of the IT detachment supporting the minister’s office, he served as CISO for the first paperless presidential election in 2022. His diverse career—spanning the public and private sectors, civil, military, and diplomatic roles, as well as investment banking and trading floors, and serving as IT director at an intergovernmental organization—includes responsibilities related to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (implementation of the initial infrastructure foundation). As a reserve officer in the gendarmerie, he bridges operational challenges, cloud computing, and digital sovereignty. He began his career in the IT press in the 1990s.
