Speakers

Pierre has been a professor (Dr. habil.) in the Computer Science Department at Télécom SudParis, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, since October 2015. Previously, he was a junior researcher at the University of Neuchâtel, a postdoctoral fellow at INRIA, and a research assistant at the University of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée. In 2023, Pierre was a visiting researcher at the IMDEA Software Institute and also spent some time working for Informal Systems. Pierre holds a Ph.D. from Sorbonne University. He works on the theory and practice of distributed systems, particularly cloud, storage, and data processing systems.
