Philippe Latombe is the representative for the first district of the Vendée, secretary of the Committee on Laws, and a member of the Democratic Group. He is currently serving his third term. He is also a commissioner at the CNIL. Particularly committed to issues related to digital law, he has actively participated in the work of the working group on constitutional rights and freedoms in the digital age, as well as in that of the parliamentary fact-finding mission on blockchain. He served as rapporteur for the parliamentary mission “Building and Promoting National and European Digital Sovereignty” and as co-rapporteur for the fact-finding mission “on the challenges of using public security imagery in the public domain for the purpose of combating insecurity.” He currently serves as chair of the Special Committee tasked with reviewing the bill on the resilience of critical infrastructure and the strengthening of cybersecurity.
