Owen Lagadec-Iriarte is a tech and tourism entrepreneur based in the Basque Country. A former co-founder of iKlax (an interactive audio project that won an award at ICMC 2008) and later of Apps & Co in the digital tourism sector, he went on to lead the development of Poplidays, a professional vacation rental platform, which he expanded to a national and then international scale. A committed figure in the regional digital ecosystem, he also served as president of Pays Basque Digital, a network that brings together public and private stakeholders around innovation and cybersecurity. An advocate for technology that is both useful and locally rooted, he links digital transformation, cultural impact, and job creation.
