Dr. Gunay Kazimzade is an AI Governance Advisor at Siemens Energy and a globally recognized researcher in artificial intelligence ethics. Named Germany’s “AI Newcomer of the Year” in 2019, her work focuses on mitigating algorithmic bias, data fairness, and responsible corporate AI deployment. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin, where her research at the Weizenbaum Institute explored the societal impacts and critical risks of machine learning systems. An experienced global speaker who has delivered a TED Talk on gender and racial bias in AI, Dr. Kazimzade has spoken at over 300 international events and regularly advises government agencies and corporate executives on technology policy and inclusive innovation.
