Dr. Giovanna G. Casimiro, an XR specialist and brand strategist since 2010, has over a decade of marketing and production experience in the field of innovation. From 2021 to 2023, Dr. Giovanna served as Lead Metaverse Producer at the Decentraland Foundation, where she led Metaverse Fashion Week, seamlessly blending fashion with the metaverse. She currently works with multiple studios and brands to develop strategies and produce projects for the fashion and beauty industries on immersive and gaming platforms, such as Roblox. She holds a PhD from the University of São Paulo’s Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, with a focus on Open Source Heritage, digital memory, and open-source tools for the future of culture and the arts. With extensive global experience, Dr. Giovanna has led independent projects worldwide, assisting corporations and brands—including Red Bull, Finnair, Fortum, Adidas, Diesel, DKNY, DVF, Coach, D-Cave, Dundas, JPMorgan, Walmart, and more—in their digital transformation journeys.
