Fatiha Gas, an expert in innovation and strategic transformation at La Poste Group. Fatiha Gas joined La Poste Group in March 2022 as Director of Innovation in the Group’s Data/AI Division. In this role, her mission is to promote the use of data and artificial intelligence (AI) within the group, lead a working group on trustworthy AI, and develop strategic partnerships with key players in the field, such as INRIA. In this context, Fatiha Gas is responsible for familiarizing teams with the various developments in AI technologies, preparing them to use AI and generative AI to improve day-to-day productivity, and providing support in defining new use cases for AI. In the context of trustworthy AI, she contributed to the finalization of two frameworks: one for pre-screening, which classifies AI systems according to the four criteria defined by the European AI Act; and the other for self-assessment, which measures a system’s maturity level based on predefined criteria such as the presence of bias, energy consumption, or environmental impact. She also participates in a working group at the France AI Hub focused on risks associated with generative AI. Since May 2024, she has led the Group’s Generative AI program. Fatiha Gas is also committed to promoting diversity and equality in the digital sector. She has served as vice president of the Club XXIème Siècle and as a board member of Les Entretiens de l’Excellence and the association Femmes Ingénieures. She was awarded the rank of Knight of the Order of Merit in recognition of her efforts to promote diversity and make the digital sector more attractive to young women. In 2025, Fatiha Gas was named one of the 50 Women in AI in France, won the “Woman in AI in Business” award at the West Data Festival, and was recognized by Forbes as one of the 50 women who are making a difference.
