Damien Desan, born in 1979 in Toulon, is the founder and CEO of Phocea DC, a sovereign and eco-friendly data center launched in 2023 in Marseille. A trained engineer, he has more than 20 years of experience in IT. Passionate about information technology and entrepreneurship, he has raised 5 million euros to develop a locally-based, energy-efficient (PUE of 1.2) and environmentally-friendly data center, aimed at meeting local needs while also promoting digital sovereignty.
