Born in 1978, Christian Lavenir holds a degree in electrical engineering from Télécom Saint-Etienne. He joined CEME in 2003, serving successively as a junior project manager, senior project manager, and then project manager for the industrial, telecommunications, and service sectors until 2009. He then became Director of CEME Centre-Est (Charolles, 71), followed by Director of CEME Sotrelec (Lyon). In 2019, he assumed the role of Technical Director for Electrical Engineering upon the creation of the CEME Group’s Data Center department. At the same time, he serves as Project Director for key data centers for the group, such as DC2020 (2019–2021), Edge DC (2021–2023), and Nation DC (2023–2025).
