Antoine Bosselut is an assistant professor at the École Polytechnique Fédéral de Lausanne (EPFL). Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford and a Young Investigator at the Allen Institute for AI. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington. His research focuses on AI reasoning systems that can be applied to important societal problems. He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Science and Healthcare in 2021. He serves on the steering committee of the Swiss AI Initiative and is a co-lead of the Apertus project, which trained the world’s largest open and compliant large language model (LLM).
