The ULTI+ R290 is a single-flow heat pump Designed for ventilation, heating, and air conditioning in large spaces. This standalone rooftop unit incorporates the latest technological advancements to ensure optimal energy efficiency. Its performance and ease of installation make it a modular solution that adapts to its environment (whether in a renovation or new construction project).

EU Regulation 2024/573 (or F-Gas III) sets out a phase-out of fluorinated greenhouse gases leading up to their total ban in 2050.
Accordingly, it will be prohibited to install new rooftop units using a refrigerant with a GWP > 150 starting:
* 2027 for units with a capacity of ≤ 50 kW
* 2030 for units with a capacity of > 50 kW

To stay ahead of these regulatory changes, ETT has updated its ULTIMA Green Line rooftop unit lineup to use a refrigerant with an extremely low GWP.

The ULTI+ R290 is a rooftop unit that uses propane, a non-fluorinated natural refrigerant with a near-zero GWP (0.02), making it a forward-looking technology in the air-to-air heat pump segment, as it is completely unaffected by future regulatory tightening.
