The KEL-ERM is an optimized evolution of the proven KEL-ER model; it sets new standards for split cable glands for pre-terminated cables. Designed for demanding industrial applications, the KEL-ERM offers maximum sealing performance, ease of installation, and exceptional flexibility.

In addition to the high IP66 protection rating achieved with single cable glands, the KEL-ERM enables, for the first time, the safe use of multiple cable glands with a protection rating of up to IP65 (certified according to EN 60529). Depending on the cable gland used, cables with diameters ranging from 1 to 35 mm can be routed safely, sealed, and protected against tensile forces in accordance with EN 62444. The proven automatic locking mechanism of the cable glands further simplifies installation and ensures that the glands are securely held in place. Once installation is complete, the upper section is securely screwed into the base.

Thanks to the molded gasket, no additional flat gasket is needed for wall mounting. This increases the reliability of the process, as it eliminates the risk of forgetting to install a gasket and also reduces installation time.

Once assembly is complete, the upper section is securely screwed into the base. The KEL-ERM is compatible with standard cutouts for 10-, 16-, and 24-pole connectors. The KEL-ERM-B model is designed for 46 × 46 mm cutouts (such as those used for controllers and meters). 

For situations requiring a higher level of security and stability, the KEL-ERM is available with optional integrated threaded inserts. These are ideal for mounting from inside the cabinet and provide optimal protection against vandalism and accidental loosening.
