Data Centre World Paris 2026 Unveils Its Program to Address New Challenges in Energy and AI
To mark the 10th edition of Tech Show Paris, Data Centre World Paris returns on November 18 and 19, 2026, with a program focused on the trade-offs that are redefining the industry. The growth of the cloud, digital applications, and artificial intelligence is driving up demand for capacity and power, while access to energy, costs, construction timelines, and project acceptance are becoming increasingly restrictive.
The 2026 program currently features about 30 sessions spread across the Keynote Data Center and Data Centers in Action stages. Roundtable discussions, case studies, and technical presentations will allow industry professionals to compare their decisions with real-world examples. The full program is available online.
Five Priorities for the Data Center Industry
Energy at the Heart of Projects. Grid availability, the cost of electricity, and regional trade-offs directly influence the location and competitiveness of sites. The program will address security of supply, grid stability, energy efficiency, and the recovery of waste heat.
New AI Infrastructure. High-performance computing workloads are increasing rack density and requiring new approaches to electrical architecture, connectivity, and cooling. Liquid cooling, GPUs, high-density networks, and infrastructure resilience will be among the topics covered.
Building a data center. As project timelines accelerate, standardization, modularity, financing, and adherence to deadlines become critical. Several sessions will examine design choices and models capable of balancing performance, economic viability, and future capacity expansion.
Acceptability and Sovereignty. Energy and water use, land availability, and local impact place data centers at the center of economic and regional debates. The program will examine the conditions necessary to align these projects with a digital sovereignty strategy and enhance their acceptability.
Operating a data center under constraints. Service continuity requires a constant balance between availability, security, maintenance, and cost control. Automation, monitoring, retrofitting, and predictive maintenance will be examined based on real-world operational realities.
Discussions Rooted in Market Decisions
The program will address, among other topics, the role of data centers in France’s industrial strategy, strain on the power grid, cooling in the age of AI, heat recovery, project financing, and the modernization of existing infrastructure.
Among the sessions announced are “Data Centers in France: Between the Rush Toward AI, Colocation, and the Mirage of Hyperscale,” “Data Centers and Energy: Strain on the Grid, a Catalyst for Transition?,” “AI Sets the Pace for Data Center Cooling,” and “Financing, Designing, Building: Behind the Scenes of a Data Center Industry Under Pressure.”
Representatives from Telehouse, Data4, Digital Realty, Schneider Electric, EDF, RTE, Vertiv, Lenovo, the Uptime Institute, ADEME, Banque des Territoires, and Eiffage are among the speakers already announced.
At the exhibition, visitors will also have the opportunity to meet major players in the industry, such as APL Data Center, Rehlko, ABB, Carrier, Corning, Panduit, and Stulz.
An Immersion into the Heart of Critical Incidents
Among the new features of this year’s event, the Data Center Immersive Hub will offer visitors the chance to immerse themselves in realistic scenarios inspired by critical incidents faced by operators: total blackouts, water leaks, hidden failures, or overheating. This experience will allow visitors to observe how teams and technologies detect, contain, and resolve a crisis to ensure operational continuity and infrastructure resilience. It’s a hands-on way to see how solutions on the market work together, closely mirroring the sector’s operational realities.
An anniversary edition at Tech Show Paris
Data Centre World Paris will be held alongside Cloud & AI Infrastructure Paris, DevOps Live Paris, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo Paris, and Data & AI Leaders Summit Paris. As part of Tech Show Paris, the 2026 edition is expected to attract more than 7,900 tech professionals and industry leaders, more than 310 exhibitors and solution providers, and feature more than 150 conference sessions.
Visitors will be able to compare solutions available on the market, meet industry professionals, and tailor their experience with a mix of strategic content and technical sessions. Registration is now open; a single badge grants access to all five co-located trade shows.
