Tech Show Paris celebrates diversity in tech for Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month, Tech Show Paris is highlighting the remarkable contributions of diverse talent in the tech sector, while reaffirming its commitment to a more inclusive tech industry. 


Inspiring Leaders in the French-Speaking Tech Community  

The French-speaking tech sector is rich in diverse talent.Rebecca Enonchong, originally from Cameroon and known as the “Tech Queen of Africa,” is the founder of AppsTech. She has transformed the startup landscape in French-speaking Africa.  

Ibrahima Sarr, from Senegal, founded Sesame University, an EdTech platform that is revolutionizing digital education on the continent. Its tools, designed specifically for African students, are redefining learning in the region.  

Ségolène Boyer, a French-Moroccan, is a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence.She has co-founded several initiatives between Morocco and Europe, while advocating for greater gender representation in the tech industry. She regularly inspires her peers at French-language conferences.  

The startup Wave, also based in Senegal, is revolutionizing financial services, propelling Dakar to become a hub for entrepreneurship in Africa.  

Diallo Abdoulaye, a native of Guinea,founded Solaris Tech, which develops solar energy solutions tailored to the African context. His company has brought electricity to more than 100 villages in West Africa.  

Finally,Marie-Fleur Dotou, from Benin, is usingtechnology to transform the food supply chain through FoodTech Afrique. Her app connects farmers directly to urban markets.   

This commitment to diversity is also at the heart of Tech Show Paris, where diversity and inclusion are highlighted throughout the event.  


Diversity at the Heart of Tech Show Paris  

For 2024, Tech Show Paris is placing diversity and inclusion at the heart of the exhibition. The event is launchingthe Africa Tour, offering an immersive experience in data center innovation. The tour includes a personalized welcome for African visitors, guided tours, and a dedicated conference on Africa.  

The conferences on diversity and inclusion will explore the challenges and opportunities of a more inclusive tech industry. Leaders will share their experiences and visions during sessions such as"Women & Diversity in Tech."  

Multicultural networking will facilitate exchanges among professionals from all walks of life, thereby fostering collaboration and cross-cultural innovation.
