In the face of the rise in fraud, deepfakes, and identity theft, proving human presence is becoming a major new cybersecurity challenge.

This session will explore the concept of the Human Trust Layer, a security layer that complements traditional authentication and aims to verify not only a user’s identity but also their physical presence and that they are alive at the time of interaction.

In particular, we will discuss the role of new biometric technologies—and specifically 4D ultrasound imaging—in developing more reliable authentication systems capable of distinguishing a real human presence from an attempted impersonation.
